It all happened on November 13th in the girl's apartment on Bilyimbayevskaya Street. According to the investigation, the teenager was jealous of the schoolgirl and resorted to stabbing her with a knife. He then hid and waited for her mother to arrive. The bodies showed wounds to the neck and chest: the woman received 15 stab wounds, and her daughter nine. The juvenile criminal also killed a Chihuahua named Bulka. Danil stabbed the dog in the bathroom and then fled the building on Bilyimbayevskaya Street with the victim's bank card. Afterwards, he and a friend withdrew 40,000 rubles from an ATM. The murderer was sentenced to 9 years and 11 months of imprisonment because, due to his age, he could not be sentenced to more than 10 years. He was deemed sane.
— The forensic psychological and psychiatric examination of the 17-year-old defendant showed that, both at the time of the committed acts and at present, he can understand the factual nature and social danger of his actions and control them, therefore, there are no grounds for applying compulsory medical measures to him, — noted the Investigative Committee of the region.
Ultimately, the Railway District Court found the teenager guilty of "Murder of two persons," "Cruelty to animals," and "Theft." The defendant's mother will also have to pay moral compensation to the relatives of the victims, totaling four million rubles. His friend was sentenced to 3.5 years probation. According to him, the main motive for the murder was not jealousy but greed.
