In the fatal accident that occurred on July 11 on the Serov – Severo-Uralsk – Ivdel highway, a 30-year-old mother of three children from the Calya settlement died.

As previously reported by the Traffic Police, the 57-year-old driver of a MAN truck fell asleep at the wheel, drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a VAZ passenger car.
At that moment, Olga was traveling with her three children in a taxi (9 months, 5 and 9 years old). The taxi driver died several hours later in the hospital. Olga died instantly.
— The children will be taken by their grandmother. The oldest daughter will be taken by her civil husband. Olga was a single mother. She was on her way to Serov to visit relatives in a taxi, — said the sister of the deceased to E1.RU.
The truck driver explained to the traffic inspectors that he did not realize the moment he lost control and could not prevent the collision.
An investigation into the accident is currently underway, and the question of initiating a criminal case is being considered.
