The road to Sverdlovsk village, built by order of Putin, started to deteriorate
Today at 11:01 AM, the road from Nizhny Tagil to Sverdlovsk village Serebryanka, which was called the "presidential" road after Vladimir Putin's intervention in 2016, has begun to sag and potholes have appeared.
The 65-kilometer road requires major repairs due to increased traffic flow.
"There are only potholes and subsidence on this road. Especially between Severka village and Serebryanka settlement. Some work is being done, but no one is seriously repairing the road. Although traffic has increased here since 2016–2017," said a resident of Serebryanka to Ura.Ru.
Moreover, this route connects Nizhny Tagil with Sinegorsky settlement, Severka, and Verkhnyaya Oslyanka village. Residents use this road to buy groceries and access medical services.
The Nizhny Tagil administration clarified that the section is managed by the regional Ministry of Transport.
Recall that the road was repaired in 2017. This was done after residents addressed Putin during a direct line. A layer of clay was removed, gravel was laid, topped with sand and rolled with rollers. Funding for the road was increased to 250 million rubles at that time. The situation was overseen by Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev.
