      Today at 10:09 AM, a court in Yekaterinburg ordered "Pyaterochka" to pay 450,000 rubles to a customer for a fight with a security guard. This was reported by the press service of the Sverdlovsk Region courts.

      The Yekaterinburg resident requested three million rubles in compensation from the store, but the judge partially satisfied his claims.

      "The court ordered JSC 'Trading House "Perekrestok"' to pay 300,000 rubles for moral damages and 150,000 rubles in fines to the plaintiff," the press service noted.

      It was established that on the evening of February 23, 2024, a man and a store security guard got into a fight on Cosmonauts Avenue. Afterward, the man required medical assistance, was diagnosed with a concussion, fractures, and bruises. His recovery took about three months.

      The injured party clarified that he had to quit his job, fell behind on his credit payments, and incurred additional losses amounting to 59,000 rubles. The court did not agree with this claim because the man did not provide evidence that his sick leave was the cause of his dismissal and overdue payments.

      Recall that in May, a "Krasny and Beloe" salesperson described how a crowd of Yekaterinburg residents beat him for asking them not to shout.
