Contracts for route servicing will most likely be awarded to Gortrans. Currently, there are no specific requirements for the models of cars to operate on these routes.
The Yekaterinburg administration added that the routes for the new Kastor three-section trams from the Ust-Katav Carriage Works are not yet determined. However, the first two sets are expected to be delivered to Yekaterinburg by the end of July. The remaining vehicles will arrive in the Ural capital by the end of the year, according to EAN.
