Today at 12:22 PM, acting governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast, Denis Pasler, during a press conference, responded whether a new metro line will be built in Yekaterinburg. Spoiler: yes, but "later."

— We are currently solving other issues. We will deal with this later, — the regional head's response to the question about the new underground line was conveyed by Uralweb correspondent.
According to him, constructing one metro station will cost between 35-40 billion rubles.
— Without federal support, we won't manage here, — added Pasler.
Earlier, Denis Pasler stated that transportation issues, particularly the construction of a second metro line, are among the main priorities for the region. By the way, an expert from Minsk has already estimated the cost of building a new underground line in the Ural capital. Ultimately, at least 150 billion rubles will be required.
