The companies have launched a service for private sellers on Avito, allowing them to send and receive goods at PEK branches. In the future, PEK pickup points across Russia will join the Avito Delivery network for sending orders.
Through PEK branches, users can send or receive parcels up to 245x242x1340 cm and weighing up to 200 kg. The maximum order value is 150,000 rubles. There is no need to package the item — PEK staff will do this themselves.
In addition to standard delivery to a pickup point or branch, buyers can order courier services, which will deliver goods directly to their door. Courier delivery is available for items up to 400x200x220 cm, up to 120 kg, and valued at up to 150,000 rubles, including intercity deliveries, making it a convenient solution for receiving large-sized cargo. Previously, users could only order intra-city large item delivery via Avito Delivery for items weighing up to 60 kg.
“Delivering oversized goods is an important step in developing Avito Delivery and creating a seamless, convenient buying and selling process for our customers. Now, users can easily and safely send parcels from almost all categories offered on Avito: spare parts, equipment, and household goods. The popularity of Avito Delivery grows each year — last year, it was used 53% more often than the previous year. Therefore, we are confident that this new solution will make transactions involving large items even easier and safer,” said Sergey Pustilnik, Avito Logistics Director.
To send a parcel, you need to visit the parcel acceptance point, show the barcode or order number to PEK staff, and hand over the item. Then, at the customer service department, present your passport and invoice — after which the order will be processed. To receive the item, you should go to the customer service of the selected pickup point or branch and show your passport and barcode. The staff will print the invoice, and you can simply approach the pickup location to collect your order.
Large-sized items ordered through Avito Delivery are also covered by the Safe Deal feature. This means you can inspect the item upon receipt and refuse the purchase if there’s an issue. In such cases, the cost of delivery and the item will be refunded to the card. Additionally, Avito support can help resolve any issues that arise, and in the event of loss or damage during transportation, the cost will be reimbursed to both the seller and the buyer.
