The driver of the Yekaterinburg administration died in a traffic accident on Bolshakova outside of working hours.

      The driver of the Yekaterinburg administration died outside of working hours in a traffic accident on Bolshakova Street today at 09:30.

      A motorcyclist died the previous evening in Yekaterinburg.

      According to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, the accident occurred on July 29 around 19:00 near the house at 12 Bolshakova Street in the Parkovy neighborhood.

      Preliminary information indicates that a 59-year-old man with 25 years of driving experience, driving a Hyundai, made a U-turn from the far right lane without giving way to a Yamaha motorcycle traveling in the same direction in the left lane, resulting in a collision.

      As a result, the motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet and protective gear, received injuries incompatible with life and died at the scene before the ambulance arrived.

      According to the E1.RU portal, the deceased Evgeny Shorokhov worked as a driver for the Yekaterinburg administration. His friend Pavel told the portal that the deceased was always very disciplined behind the wheel. The motorcycle had been his hobby for four years.
