During the prosecutor's check initiated upon a local resident's complaint, it was established that her father, a participant in the special military operation, signed a contract for military service from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
However, the Social Policy Department No. 12 refused to issue the one-time monetary benefit due to the family, citing that only the mother of the participant is eligible for the regional payment under Government Decree No. 693-PP of Sverdlovsk Region, and the right to such a benefit does not extend to the participant's child.
The prosecutor's office found that the man's mother is not registered or residing in Sverdlovsk Region. The only lawful recipient of the 100,000 ruble benefit is the daughter.
To protect the daughter's rights, the prosecutor's office filed a claim with the court against Social Policy Department No. 12, seeking recognition of the girl's right to receive the regional benefit. The Krasnogorsky District Court of Kamensk-Uralsky satisfied the prosecutor's claim.
The prosecutor's office will oversee the actual enforcement of the court's decision.
