Last Saturday, August 2nd, the "Somewhere in the Middle" festival took place in the village of Malyy Turysh. This event brings together urban and rural residents, allowing adults to briefly return to childhood. Guests from all over Russia came here to escape everyday hustle and to support life in the Ural countryside.

The program was packed: wreath weaving masterclasses, free cosmetic treatments, swings, and, of course, a photo zone with a large sign "Somewhere in the Middle". Local residents prepared the treats — they cooked for several nights in a row. Even the food court was decorated in a village style: instead of usual tables and chairs — haystacks.
"Friends have been advising me to come here for a long time," shared Vladimir from Moscow with E1.RU. "They said there's a special atmosphere here. Now I understand why it’s worth returning every year. I’m leaving tomorrow, but I will have enough impressions for a long time!"
According to organizer Guzel Sanzhapova, the festival attracted about 600-700 people.
"The most important thing is that people left satisfied. It’s also great that major brands supported local businesses — that’s one of the main goals of the event," she noted.
The festival’s headliner was actress Yulia Peresild, who performed with her band MANDRAGORA.
