August 30, 2025 — A teenager lost his left arm after sheltering from the rain with friends in a transformer booth in Aramil, E1.RU reports. The limb had to be amputated.
"The doors were open. My son is very curious, he began to climb up the metal boxes. With his left hand he touched a high-voltage wire. He got shocked, sparks flew, he lost consciousness for several minutes," the injured boy's mother told E1.RU.
The arm was amputated at the elbow. The boy himself and his relatives are glad that he survived.
According to the woman, after the incident an iron door and a lock were installed on the booth.
