A five-section tram derailed in Yekaterinburg.

      A new five-section tram derailed at VIZ, reports a Uralweb correspondent.

      The incident occurred this evening at the intersection of Vikulova and Tatishcheva. Other details are not yet known.

      Recall that the five-section tram "Kastor" from the Ust-Katav Wagon-Building Plant (Chelyabinsk region) arrived in Yekaterinburg for test runs ahead of the Innoprom exhibition.

      Among the first to ride it were acting governor Denis Pasler and Yekaterinburg mayor Alexey Orlov. A representative of the manufacturing plant who accompanied the passengers noted the good condition of the city's tram tracks. However, recently another tram derailed at Uralmash. Workers accidentally asphalted the tracks.
