The annual police contest "People’s District Police Officer 2025" has begun in the Sverdlovsk Region. The best district police officer from the region will advance to the final stage of the competition. This was reported to us by the press secretary of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk Region, Colonel Valery Gorelykh.
The aim of the event is to increase the public’s trust in the police, the prestige of the service, and to form a positive public opinion about the work of district officers.

All information about the contestants is posted on the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ website. Voters can find out how many crimes were solved with the assistance of each district officer and how they are characterized by colleagues and citizens, Colonel Gorelykh noted.
The contest is held in several stages in the format of online voting. The first runs from September 11 to 20, the second from October 7 to 16.
