Sverdlovsk Oblast plans to increase contributions for major repairs.

      In the Sverdlovsk region they are planning to increase contributions for capital repairs. This was stated by the general director of the region’s capital repair fund, Stanislav Sukhanov.

      The reason for the increase in contributions is the rise in the salaries of Sverdlovsk residents. The new amount has not yet been determined.

      “No decision has yet been made on how much the rate of the capital repair fee will be raised; the issue is being discussed, but there is no government decree. We are requesting certain percentage increases from the government, but we will not see an answer until there is an official decree,” Sukhanov said on OTV.

      According to him, the increase in contribution amounts is influenced by higher wages and the rising cost of building materials.

      Earlier there was information that utility prices in the Sverdlovsk region are to be raised again. And this is despite the recent rise in tariffs. Incidentally, the heating season has started in Yekaterinburg, which will cause utility bills to increase by 23%.
