He added that, according to him, the yard was recently renovated under a federal program, but the section of road along the gable ends of the building— for some reason— was not.
“I would like to get some explanation from the management company ‘Krasny Kamen,’” he told the utilities. “No meetings were held, no corresponding signatures were collected.”
If the item was included in the bill without the homeowners’ decision, they can contact the Department of State Housing and Construction Supervision of the Sverdlovsk Region to arrange an inspection, writes TagilCity.ru.
The fee for repair of intra-yard driveways and sidewalks will be charged only if these works are included in the apartment building’s management contract, the Nizhny Tagil administration told the outlet. Decisions to make such changes to the management contract are made at the general meeting of homeowners.
“This is not a mandatory tariff; the corresponding changes do not have to be included in your contract, so you will not have to pay,” the mayor’s office noted.
