      "Today the kokoshnik case has taken a logical turn," the human rights activist wrote on Friday, October 3. According to her, a commission was immediately sent to the Berezovsky school, which has already begun examining all the circumstances related to the ban on the kokoshnik.

      "The commission will also assess the conduct of the teaching staff and any violations. That's the kind of news the minister shared with us today, also inspired by Putin's words," Marina Akhmedova reported.

      Recall that in the town of Berezovsky, Sverdlovsk Oblast, a primary school teacher forbade a second-grade girl from wearing a kokoshnik headband to school with the words "You're not at a carnival." At the same time, according to the girl's mother, some pupils at their school wear hijabs, but they are not reprimanded for it. After the media reported on the mistreatment of the child wearing a kokoshnik, the school principal said that the kokoshnik is "sharp" and could pose an injury risk to other children.
