In Yekaterinburg, a woman stole a kitten from a 10-year-old disabled girl. The little girl from the Urals was walking her pet in her yard on Opalikhinskaya Street. A stranger simply came up, unhooked the animal from its chain leash and walked off with it.

"The cat had only been outside once. She was trembling and scared. My daughter was pulling her on the leash, forcing her to walk. She said it was cruel treatment and took the kitten Lyaysyu. The child has mental health problems; there was a seizure at night," a Yekaterinburg resident complained to the E1.RU portal.

The girl's mother said the kitten appeared nine months ago. The girl is homeschooled and rarely goes out.

A few hours later the family saw the pet on a classifieds website. It stated that the kitten would be given to a good home. The mother contacted the woman whose number was listed on the site. She said she would not return Lyaysyu to the girl. The girl's parents reported the incident to the police.

Earlier it was reported that a Yekaterinburg woman was seen on a bus with a dead kitten.
