Sverdlovsk authorities are selling FC Ural.

The government of Sverdlovsk Region has put a 50% stake in the football club Ural up for sale. The corresponding decree was signed by Governor Denis Pasler.

The document amends the region's program for managing state property and privatizing state assets for 2025 and the planned period 2026–27. Half of the club is valued at 12 million, reports the EAN outlet.

Recall that last season FC Ural missed its chance to return to the Russian Premier League, losing the playoff match to Akhmat. The Ural team will also spend the new season in the First Division. After that defeat, FC Ural coach Oleg Shatov and the club's vice-president Igor Smolnikov left the team.
