Violations at two catering outlets located in Koltsovo Airport in Yekaterinburg were identified by the Sverdlovsk Transport Prosecutor’s Office during an inspection of compliance with consumer protection legislation in the field of food service. In the two cafés, food products were being sold for which the necessary information about the manufacturer, composition, and expiration dates was absent, the Ural Transport Prosecutor’s Office said. In addition, non‑compliance with storage periods and conditions for food products, lack of labeling, and failure to carry out timely cleaning of the premises were identified. The managers of the catering enterprises were issued notices to eliminate the violations. The persons responsible were subjected to disciplinary action. Two legal entities were brought to administrative responsibility by orders of the transport prosecutor for violating sanitary‑epidemiological requirements and technical regulations. Punishment was imposed in the form of fines totaling 40,000 rubles. Substandard food products were disposed of.
