An ambulance was unable to reach the scene of a teenager's fall in Yekaterinburg because of a barrier gate.
A resident of the apartment building whose podium a schoolboy fell from the shared loggia of yesterday and was killed said that the ambulance and police could not reach the site of the fall because the entrance to the grounds was blocked by a barrier.
The resident shared the details with the editors of the Telegram channel “Angry Yekaterinburg.”
The boy, about 12–13 years old, fell yesterday, November 9, from the shared loggia of the building on Profsoyuznaya Street. The fall occurred at around 22:00 from the 25th floor onto the podium beneath the apartment windows.
They were only able to remove the body by around 1 a.m., the eyewitness who witnessed the unfolding tragedy said.
According to him, it was impossible to drive up to where the body lay because the barrier gate was closed; residents had not even voted on its installation — it had been installed by the management company. A call to the number provided produced no result — no one answered the phone.
The resident suggested that the teenager’s body had been carried out through the connecting loggias and then through the entrance, since residents had heard doors slamming for a long time. In addition, there were no tire marks on the podium.
