On Tuesday, Sverdlovsk residents will again be hit by a strong geomagnetic storm.

      A geomagnetic storm is forecast on Earth for November 11, the lead specialist of the Phobos weather center, Mikhail Leus, reported.

      According to him, the phenomenon will be caused by a cloud of plasma that will approach our planet today.

      "The geomagnetic storm will return to Earth on November 11," Leus wrote on his Telegram channel.

      According to the forecast, fluctuations of the magnetic field will be weak to moderate (levels G1–G2). Elevated geomagnetic activity will persist until Wednesday morning, after which the situation should stabilize in the afternoon of November 12.

      Recall that on November 9 a powerful flare occurred on the Sun directed toward Earth. Its intensity reached X1.79 — one of the highest values on the solar flare scale.
