A decision on the further extension of the discount program for payments via the Fast Payment System on Yekaterinburg’s public transport is planned to be made by the end of the current year. This was reported at the "Cities of Russia" forum by Maria Tochilova, director of development at JSC National Payment Card System, URA.RU reports.
"It will be decided at the end of the year whether the discount program in Yekaterinburg’s public transport will be extended," Maria Tochilova said.
The initiative has been in effect in Yekaterinburg since 2024 and allows passengers to save on trips. The current discount is 9 rubles: the ticket price is reduced from 42 to 33 rubles.
