Yekaterinburg's Mayakovsky Central Park announced the opening date of the Snow Park.

      Mayakovsky Snow Park will open in the Mayakovsky Central Park of Culture and Leisure in Yekaterinburg next Saturday, December 6. This is stated on the Mayakovsky Park page on VKontakte.

      Guests will be greeted by a festive performance and Father Frost and the Snow Maiden.

      “At 4:30 p.m. the first glowing figures and themed music will appear to set the mood for the festive evening. At 5:00 p.m. on the Main Stage the performance ‘Bus of Wonders’ by the theater company ‘MoréS’ will begin. The kind forest spirits Yel‑Cha‑Ta will come to us on a magical bus full of surprises — there will be juggling, magic tricks, warm hugs, and a real winter miracle,” the organizers promise.

      After the performance, at around 5:45 p.m., the Central Park of Culture and Leisure will light the Christmas tree.

      The ice town will again be built this year in the Historical Square (on the Plotinka). Its opening is scheduled for December 30. And on 1905 Square in front of the city “ratusha” building, just like last year, an ice rink will be flooded. If a thaw doesn’t interfere, skating there will be possible from December 12.
