New rules have been introduced for those wishing to ride the RMK giant slide in Yekaterinburg.

      One of the most popular attractions among Sverdlovsk residents and tourists in Yekaterinburg this year has been the new location "Energiya RMK. Winter," which is located between the Raduga Park and Mega shopping centers.

      Hours-long lines form at the giant slide. For the sake of a 15-second descent, people are willing to wait 2–3 hours in the crowd and out in the cold. The organizers have decided to change how tickets are sold.

      — We have decided to overhaul the entire ticketing system for the slide so that there are fewer queues and using the slide becomes more comfortable:

      Tickets for the slide are now sold for 90-minute sessions.

      If you do not manage to use tickets purchased today or later, contact an attendant. You may be admitted a short time late if the number of people on the slide at that moment has not been exceeded.

      Entrances to the runs are separated by level: those who want to get to level 1 (17 meters high) no longer stand in the same line as those who want to go to level 2 (24 meters).

      Tickets are released for sale in a staggered manner: for example, on January 7 sales open for January 8, and so on.

      Organizers believe this will help reduce congestion and the number of queues.
