The roundup of roaming pigs in Revda has been postponed.

The court in Revda postponed the dates for rounding up the stray pigs. Recall that the animals have been roaming the city's streets unhindered for several months.

As it turned out, the pigs belong to local farmer Anatoly Lutkov. Due to inadequate conditions of keeping, on November 25, 2025 the Revda City Court ordered the animals to be seized. The round-up was planned for December 8, but the farmer filed an appeal, which led to a suspension of the enforcement of the decision.

      — The appeal was found to be unsubstantiated and the court did not accept it. Lutkov was given until December 30, 2025 to remedy the identified violations. At the moment no new appeals have been filed with the court, the press service of the Sverdlovsk Regional Court told KP-Ekaterinburg.

On December 23, 2025 the head of Revda, Tatyana Klepikova, said during a live Q&A that the pigs are planned to be rounded up after January 12, 2026. It was expected that the animals would be handed over to representatives of a peasant farming enterprise from the village of Klinovsky.
