In Yekaterinburg, eight more residential buildings will be demolished on Strelochnikov Street.

The administration of Yekaterinburg approved the redevelopment of the block near the railway station. Eight two‑storey residential buildings on Strelochnikov Street and three non‑residential buildings will be demolished there. Two plots within the boundaries of Strelochnikov Street and Ishimsky and Proizvodstvenny lanes have been included in the comprehensive territorial development program (KRT), with a total area of 19.4 thousand square meters.

The mayor’s office noted that the houses to be demolished are located at the following addresses: Strelochnikov Street, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 and 28. Only two of these buildings are officially classified as dilapidated; the rest belong to the old housing stock.

In addition to the residential buildings, two non‑residential structures at Strelochnikov 12 and 22 and another property at 1 Ishimsky Lane will also be demolished. After signing the territory development agreement, the developer will have seven years to implement the project. The investor will be required, at its own expense, not only to build new housing but also to carry out repairs to Gymnasium No. 155 and School No. 208, writes Ura.Ru.
