      Yekaterinburg doctors saved a patient who was admitted in critical condition with a bullet in his heart. During the operation, he experienced clinical death twice.

      — I want to tell you about a rescue that shocked even experienced medics. A man was admitted to hospital No. 23 in critical condition — a gunshot wound to the heart. The situation was so complicated that clinical death occurred twice during the operation, — said the Minister of Health of Sverdlovsk, Tatyana Savinova, to the press service.

      The operation lasted two hours. The patient received a blood transfusion and direct heart massage.

      — Clinical death lasted 38 minutes. Think about what an eternity that is for those fighting for the patient! The surgeons held the life of a person in their hands, — added Savinova.

      After two months of rehabilitation, the patient was discharged home. Earlier, we reported that an infection nearly destroyed the spine of a Sverdlovsk ambulance driver.
