      In all private medical organizations in the Sverdlovsk region, abortions have stopped being performed.

      — All private clinics have decided to refuse licenses for performing abortions. This happened despite the fact that some clinics had all the conditions prescribed by federal legislation, and theoretically, they could perform abortions, a source told Ura.Ru.

      According to Ura.Ru, "Paracelsus," "Mother and Child," and the Aesthetic Gynecology Clinic stated that they do not perform abortions. In one of the clinics, an operator directly said that as of today, all private clinics in the region have stopped providing this service. The regional Ministry of Health confirmed to the media that all private clinics in the Middle Urals have voluntarily ceased performing abortions.

      — In the Sverdlovsk region, this medical service is only provided in state medical institutions within the framework of the compulsory medical insurance (CMI) system, the department noted.

      Recall that at the end of last year, it became known that the first to refuse abortions were the "Chance" clinic and the Yekaterinburg Medical Center (EMC).
