Ura.ru editor Denis Allayarov admitted guilt in the crime he is accused of. This became known during the latest hearing of the case in the Verkh-Isetsky District Court.
The prosecution stated that the journalist was charged with bribing a public official for committing knowingly illegal actions in a significant amount.

Recall that on June 5, 2025, searches were conducted at the office of Ura.Ru's Yekaterinburg correspondent Denis Allayarov and his staff. At that time, Allayarov was arrested and sent to a pre-trial detention center.
The Investigative Committee accused Allayarov of purchasing official information: he acquired official information about incidents from his uncle Andrey Karpov, who was then a police officer. The case involves several episodes totaling 120,000 rubles.
The court extended Allayarov's detention in the pre-trial detention center several times. Karpov was sentenced to 4 years probation with confiscation of the received bribe and deprivation of the rank of senior lieutenant of police. Karpov was the first to testify against Allayarov.
