The Sverdlovsk Transport Prosecutor's Office has organized an inspection regarding the prolonged delay of a flight by Ural Airlines from Istanbul to Yekaterinburg.
The flight in question is U6-774, which was supposed to depart from Istanbul Airport on April 5 at 19:25, but the departure was postponed to April 6 at 10:55.
It is specified that the reason for the delay was the late arrival of the aircraft. This is related to adjustments in the airline's daily flight schedule against the backdrop of restrictions on the use of airspace in the southern regions of the country.
Passengers were provided with a hotel, as well as food and drinks.
The transport prosecutor's office reported that they are conducting supervisory activities. Passengers were also reminded that in case of violation of their rights, they can contact the duty prosecutor of the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office.
