What is happening with the Yekaterinburg Circus?

      The renovation of the entrance group of the branch is nearing completion as part of the large-scale reconstruction of the Yekaterinburg State Circus. This was reported by the company "Rosgoscirc."

      As noted in the project, the update aims to restore the famous circus to its historical appearance while simultaneously adapting the building to modern comfort and safety requirements. During the work, the main load-bearing structures have been preserved, engineering communications have been updated, and the recognizable dome has been restored.

      Special attention has been paid to the infrastructure for animals: the areas and number of rooms have been increased, and a new extension of over 1500 square meters has been built.

      Currently, work is being completed on the entrance group—marble columns are being installed, and ceiling finishing is underway. This area will become the "calling card" of the renovated circus, creating the first impression for the audience.

      After the reconstruction, visitors will enter a modern spacious foyer with an updated cloakroom, and then into an auditorium with 1900 seats. Preparations for the installation of seats are already underway, and new flooring is being laid in the ring.

      The project provides for a serious modernization of technical equipment: updated lighting and sound systems are expected to enhance the spectacle of performances and expand the possibilities for productions.

      The General Director of Rosgoscirc, Sergey Belyakov, noted that the renovated branch will serve as an example of the combination of aesthetics and functionality, and emphasized the priority of improving conditions for the care of animals and adhering to modern engineering standards.

      Currently, the readiness of the facility exceeds 55%.
