Yekaterinburg residents are prohibited from grilling shashliks in the forests.
In Yekaterinburg, a special fire safety regime was introduced on April 15, prohibiting residents from visiting forests and grilling shashliks at dachas. The corresponding decree was signed by Mayor Alexey Orlov.
Residents are not allowed to enter forests and peat bogs, drive vehicles into forest areas, except for traveling on public roads and for the purpose of forest protection. It is also prohibited to light and use open flames, burn garbage or grass on land plots located near forests.
However, authorities do not prohibit the use of barbecues located on the premises of public catering establishments, writes EAN.
Earlier, we reported that in the main territory of the Sverdlovsk region, the fire season will begin on April 15, while in several northern municipalities it will start on April 20. From that moment, a ban on grass burning in fields, lighting bonfires in forest areas, and burning logging residues will be introduced.
At dacha and garden plots, barbecues and fire pits should be placed no closer than five meters from buildings and structures. Sources of open flame must be located at least 50 meters away from buildings and no closer than 100 meters from the forest boundary.
