Law enforcement revealed the role of a 19-year-old curator in the case of the murder of a Moscow woman by a player from "Ural-2".
On April 19, 2026, the capital's Investigative Committee revealed details about the role of a 19-year-old resident of St. Petersburg, detained on suspicion of involvement in the murder of a woman during a robbery of an apartment on Stroginsky Boulevard in Moscow, identified as Daniil Sekach, a player for the Ural-2 football club, reports "KP-Ekaterinburg."
The Petersburg resident adhered to a criminal scheme developed by fraudsters located in Ukraine. A bag containing stolen jewelry and money passed from hand to hand among so-called couriers, who, according to "KP," were not acquainted with each other. Instructions were given to them by curators, including the 19-year-old detainee.
"During the investigation, it was established that the 19-year-old suspect, acting on the instructions of the crime organizers, recruited couriers and then coordinated their actions related to the transfer of property stolen from the apartment located on Stroginsky Boulevard," the Investigative Committee channel reported on Thursday.
The first courier was 22-year-old Sofia Nikolskaya, who brought a grinder to Sekach in the apartment on Stroginsky Boulevard. The girl then went downstairs, picked up the bag, and ran into the yard. There, she was met by 17-year-old Kirill Ch., who was given a description of Nikolskaya's appearance by the curator. Kirill Ch. then handed the package to 19-year-old Nikita Syatkin and 20-year-old Yegor Shmat on a children's playground, who transported the stolen goods to the city of Lobnya. There, they repackaged the stolen items and handed them over to 19-year-old Eldar Aushev from St. Petersburg, who, like the perpetrator of the crime Daniil Sekach, arrived in the capital at the direction of the fraudsters.
In addition, the detained curator from St. Petersburg, on the assignment of the fraud scheme organizers, purchased phones and SIM cards from which SMS messages with false information about the hacking of Russian citizens' accounts in messengers and on the State Services portal were sent.
Charges have been brought against him, as well as all other participants in this case, under Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery), reports "KP-Ekaterinburg." The main figure in this criminal case, Daniil Sekach, in addition to robbery (Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), is accused of murder (Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), as well as violent sexual acts (Article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Sekach, Nikolskaya, Syatkin, and Aushev are in pre-trial detention, while Shmat is under house arrest. The measure of restraint for the minor Kirill Ch. is not disclosed.
Twenty-year-old Sekach, at the direction of the fraudsters, flew from Yekaterinburg to Moscow on March 13. On Stroginsky Boulevard, he, following their instructions, killed the apartment's owner in front of her 16-year-old daughter, opened the safe, packed valuables and money into a bag, and threw it out the window, where it was picked up by Nikolskaya. Additionally, while in the apartment of the already murdered woman, Sekach, at the direction of his curators, tormented her daughter.
