The man who burned alive in a car in Yekaterinburg turned out to be a blogger.
The victim of the fire at the parking lot in Yekaterinburg was 36-year-old blogger and gamer Roman Petrichenko, known online by the nickname "Uncle Roma." He created reviews of computer games, and his videos garnered thousands of views. He is survived by his wife and son, reports "KP-Yekaterinburg."
The tragedy occurred on the night of April 19 on Raevsky Street. During the firefighting efforts, rescuers discovered the body of a man in one of the vehicles. The information was confirmed to the media by Roman's brother. According to him, the fire started from the car's engine.
The brother of the deceased noted that Roman was unable to escape from the vehicle, adding that he does not have precise details about what happened and does not want to make assumptions.
According to data from the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Sverdlovsk region, the fire damaged three vehicles: a Toyota Tank, a Ford Mondeo, and a Kia Sportage— the bodies, engine compartments, and interiors of the cars were affected. The body of the man was found in one of them.
Preliminary information indicates that there are no signs of a crime in the incident.
