      At the same time, the accused did not explain to the child the dangers of such activities and did not prohibit him from tubing without adult supervision.

      The inflatable sleds were freely accessible, so on the morning of February 15, 2026, the minor, without permission and supervision from adults, went to Mount Sokolinka to slide with his friend born in 2018.

      Suddenly, the snow mass that had accumulated on the mountain descended as an avalanche onto the children. As a result, both children were buried under the snow and could not escape from it, dying from suffocation.

      According to the conclusion of the forensic examination conducted during the investigation, as a result of sliding down the steep slope of the mountain, the children provided the final impulse for the snow masses to descend.

      The charges have been brought under part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence to two persons). The criminal case with an approved indictment has been sent to court for substantive consideration.
