A drone of the Ukrainian Armed Forces crashed into a high-rise building in Orenburg, reports Mash. According to Mash, the drone struck a house on Volgogradskaya Street. A few minutes before this, local residents saw the aircraft flying low. "During the repulsion of the UAV attack, a residential building was damaged," wrote the governor of Orenburg region, Yevgeny Solntsev, in Mash.
Several apartments on the upper floors were damaged. The roof of the apartment building was affected, and some windows were partially shattered, reports the EAN agency.
The distance from Orenburg region to the border with Ukraine is over a thousand kilometers by air, reports Lenta.ru. Since the end of April, Ukrainian drones have attacked apartment buildings in Yekaterinburg, Perm, and Cheboksary.
UPD. "According to operational services, there are no casualties as a result of the enemy UAV attack on the apartment building in Orenburg," wrote Governor Yevgeny Solntsev. Residents of the building have been evacuated and offered accommodation in a hotel.
