In Yekaterinburg, a rescue worker freed a pigeon from the college ventilation system.
In Yekaterinburg, animal rescuer Evgeny Zenkov pulled out a pigeon that was stuck in the ventilation duct of the college on Taganskaya. The bird had spent several days there. This was reported in the group "ZooSpas in Yekaterinburg" on "VKontakte."
On Wednesday, May 13, during classes, students heard muffled rustling and flapping of wings from the wall. After a day, the grate under the ceiling was removed in the classroom, revealing a wide ventilation passage. A pigeon was walking at the bottom of the duct. A college employee contacted the animal rescuer.
— "When I climbed up the ladder to the huge square hole in the ceiling, I was amazed at the width of the ventilation duct. It seems that a person could fit in it quite comfortably. The pigeon was clearly visible without an endoscope; it was walking at the bottom, which was at floor level," clarified Evgeny Zenkov.
After a while, the rescuer caught the bird with a loop and lifted it up. It is assumed that the pigeon got stuck over the weekend. It was released in the college's inner courtyard. The first thing it did was fly to drink rainwater from a puddle.
Earlier, we reported that animal rights activists in Yekaterinburg saved a cat that had spent two days in a tree.
