Relatives revealed the cause of death of the mother of two children from Kachkanar, found dead in the forest.

      Relatives revealed the cause of death of 28-year-old mother of two from Kachkanar, Irina Yaroslavtseva, whose mutilated body was found in the forest in July last year. Two months prior, the woman had disappeared without a trace.

      It was already established then that the death was violent, but her relatives did not disclose what exactly caused Irina's death.

      A year later, Irina Yaroslavtseva's relatives broke their silence about the cause of her death, writes "KP-Ekaterinburg."

      — She died of asphyxiation. She didn't do anything herself. Apparently, she was strangled, — Irina's aunt told "KP-Ekaterinburg."

      As previously reported, a body with traces of wild animal bites and signs of strangulation on the neck was found in early July 2025 in the forest near the city by a forester. Two months prior, on May 4, 2025, the woman left home without money and documents.

      Even before Irina's mysterious disappearance, her small children, a 6-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter, were living with her mother, as Irina had an unhealthy family situation at home.

      Her partner, when drunk, often raised his hand against her, but she either did not want to break up with him or could not. After Irina was found, the man became the first suspect, but after undergoing a polygraph test, he was released without charges.
