In Yekaterinburg, the movement of electric scooters has been banned on new sections of roads.
The Yekaterinburg City Hall is preparing to ban the movement of SIMs in six additional areas. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.
The movement of SIMs will be restricted:
on the odd side of Lenin Avenue, from Bazhov to Kuznetskaya;
on the odd side of Kuznetskaya, from Lenin Avenue to May Day Street;
on the even side of May Day Street, from Kuznetskaya to Bazhov;
on the even side of Bazhov, from May Day Street to Lenin Avenue;
on the even side of Vostochnaya, from Lenin Avenue to Malyshev;
on the even side of Brothers Bykov, from Spanish Workers to Chelyuskintsev.
The installation of signs is scheduled for June.
Previously, 82 prohibitory signs were placed within the boundaries of the streets: Vainera - Anton Valek - Chemists' Lane - Gorky - Pushkin - Malyshev. Their action applies not only to rented and personal electric scooters but also to all other SIMs: segways, unicycles, hoverboards, electric bicycles.

Signs 3.35 will be installed at 6 sections of the streets. The city authorities will install road signs 3.35 "Movement on individual mobility devices is prohibited" at several more sections of the street and road network of the Ural capital.
