In the Sverdlovsk region, scammers are mass trying to steal accounts from social media users.
In the Sverdlovsk region, a wave of fraudulent attacks on Instagram users (recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) has been recorded.
Thus, the attackers, posing as the brand SKVRT, are sending women offers for collaboration. Under the guise of a partnership program, victims are promised free clothing, but in reality, this turns out to be a phishing scheme.
The fraudsters write from technical or fake accounts, offering to become a brand ambassador and receive items for free or at a huge discount. To do this, they ask the victims to follow an external link and then authorize in the messenger. The fake page copies the interface of a popular application, tricking the user into providing their login and password.
Entering personal data on such a resource leads to the loss of access to the account. The scammers instantly change the password and the link to the phone number, making it almost impossible for the owner to regain the page.
Earlier, we reported that scammers are collecting cryptocurrency in the name of a Ural politician.
