Some social institutions in Sverdlovsk may be repurposed to work with participants of the Special Military Operation.

In the social service organizations of the Sverdlovsk region, 238 places have already been set up for disabled participants of the special military operation (SMO). Nevertheless, the Ministry of Social Policy of the region does not rule out that entire institutions may be redirected for this purpose if necessary.

      — In our region, eight social service organizations have been identified, based on which activities for the social rehabilitation of disabled individuals among SMO participants are being conducted. There are 238 places available. Currently, this number is sufficient, but if necessary, the institutions can be repurposed to provide social rehabilitation services exclusively to participants of the special operation, said Minister Andrey Zlokazov in an interview with the publication "Oblastnaya Gazeta."

According to him, starting this year, participants of the special operation can enter into a social contract to receive state assistance for organizing entrepreneurial activities without assessing the average per capita income of the family. Since the beginning of the year, 22 contracts have been concluded under these conditions, writes "Signal Ural." Earlier, the amount of the one-time payment upon signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense was reduced in the Sverdlovsk region.
