A report was received at the duty unit of the police department in Pervouralsk about the theft of a VAZ-21102 parked in an unguarded parking lot. According to the applicant, the vehicle was stolen from the evening of June 1 to the morning of June 2. The amount of material damage amounted to 200,000 rubles.
Employees of the criminal investigation department identified and detained the suspect in the crime. He turned out to be a 22-year-old local resident previously convicted of property crimes. The young man admitted his guilt and explained that he intended to dismantle the car for spare parts for subsequent sale.
