Two in one: the bailiffs found two debtors living together in the same house.
The bailiffs in the Sverdlovsk region located a 42-year-old man who was hiding from paying alimony and had accumulated a debt of over 400,000 rubles. The debtor was found during enforcement actions related to another case—the seizure of his girlfriend's car, which owed the state over 300,000 rubles.
As reported by the regional office of the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP), the man was supposed to pay his children 20,000 rubles monthly, but he repeatedly ignored the bailiff's summons, did not answer phone calls, and did not appear for appointments. As a result, he was declared wanted.
Employees of the debtor search department established that the man lived in a cottage in one of the settlements of the Sysert district with his girlfriend. During the inspection, the bailiffs discovered a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado belonging to the woman near the house. Enforcement proceedings were also underway against the owner of the SUV, including due to a tax debt of 167,000 rubles.
During the car seizure, the man, noticing activity near the house, went outside with the car owner. There, he was already awaited by the bailiffs.
The alimony debtor was taken to the enforcement bailiff and held administratively liable for failing to provide for his children. The court sentenced him to 12 days of administrative arrest.
After the car was seized, the woman paid off over 160,000 rubles of the debt to avoid losing the SUV and continued payments on the remaining debt.
