The Kirov District Court of Yekaterinburg granted the lawsuit of the Deputy Director of the ANO "Kolyada-Theater," Eki Vashakidze, to recognize her as the founder of the organization.
After the death in March of the theater's founder, playwright Nikolai Kolyada, who left no will, Vashakidze continued to manage the theater. In court, her representative stated that she had previously been included in the list of founders of the ANO by the founder's decision, but this status had not been legally formalized.
During the proceedings, the theater itself was recognized as the defendant instead of the regional Ministry of Justice and the tax inspectorate. The representative of the defendant did not appear at the hearing but did not object to the lawsuit.
The court granted Vashakidze's demands. The decision has not yet entered into legal force.
