According to meteorologist Alexey Pulin, the formation of thunderstorm clouds is expected in the region before the front passes. Locally, intense but localized downpours, hail, and wind gusts exceeding 20 meters per second are possible.
In the western part of the Sverdlovsk region, the maximum air temperature is expected in the first half of the day, after which a cooling trend will begin. In the eastern part of the region, where the front will not reach by evening, the heat will last longer—the peak warming will occur in the second half of the day.
In Yekaterinburg, on July 7, variable cloudiness is forecasted, with brief rains and localized downpours with thunderstorms. The probability of thunderstorms is about 55%. The wind will be from the south at a speed of 1-6 m/s, with gusts reaching 16-18 m/s during thunderstorms. At night, the air temperature will be +18…+20 degrees, and during the day it will be +28…+30.
According to preliminary forecasts, rainy weather will persist almost until the end of the week. Daytime temperatures will remain within +23…+28 degrees, with the coolest day being July 8, when the air will warm up to only +23 degrees.
