According to the case materials, in 2024, a resident of Moscow reported to the police that she had given almost 12 million rubles to fraudsters. The police detained fitness trainer Sergey Lisitsin and his accomplices Pavel Sychugov and Alexander Purtov. According to the investigation, Lisitsin and his friends received money from a courier and transferred 3.3 million rubles to a cryptocurrency wallet. The guilty were sent to the "Matrosskaya Tishina" pre-trial detention center.
Sergey Lisitsin was sentenced to three years and ten months in a general regime colony. His accomplice Pavel Sychugov was sentenced to three years and six months in a general regime colony, and Alexander Purtov received three years and nine months for the same charge.
At the same time, the bodybuilder's lawyer Marina Ayrapetyan stated that Lisitsin did not know he was participating in illegal activities. According to her, the accused did not transfer or cash out any funds.
