The subject of the criminal case, initiated under part 1 of article 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (vandalism), was declared insane by the court and released from criminal liability.
On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, the magistrate of judicial district No. 3 of the Leninsky judicial district of Nizhny Tagil issued a ruling to apply a compulsory medical measure—treatment in a general psychiatric hospital.
