Repairs have begun on an important section of the MKAD: traffic will be restricted.

      Repairs to the road surface on the overpasses have begun on the Yekaterinburg Ring Road. The first works have already been completed at the 57th kilometer of the EKAD, where the overpass over the federal highway M-12 "Vostok" is located.

      During the repairs, traffic was organized in one lane without completely closing the road. Road workers removed the worn layer of asphalt using a milling machine and laid a new surface. The work was carried out during hours of minimal traffic load to reduce inconvenience for drivers. Traffic in this section is now conducted on the updated asphalt.

      The next stage of repairs will take place on the night of August 6 at the 54th kilometer of the EKAD - at the overpass over the railway tracks in the Severki area. Here, too, there are no plans to completely close traffic. The upper layer of the surface will be replaced by laying new asphalt concrete.
