A brothel with girls from Africa was raided in the center of Yekaterinburg.
In the basement of a house on Engels Street, 30 in Yekaterinburg, law enforcement officials discovered an establishment where, according to inspectors, intimate services were provided. The premises are located in the so-called "millionaires' quarter." This was reported by public figure Dmitry Chukreev on his Telegram channel.
The establishment operated without a sign. Clients were allegedly attracted through Telegram and advertisement websites. Visitors were informed that they were negotiating with a girl working independently; however, in reality, the meetings took place in a rented space.
Inside, two rooms for receiving clients and a separate room for the girls' accommodation were found. Some rooms had to be forcibly opened by emergency services. During a test purchase, law enforcement detained one of the alleged workers of the establishment—a student from one of the Ural universities. The administrator and another woman managed to escape through a back exit.
Employees of Police Department No. 7 conducted an inspection of the premises and seized about ten smartphones, which were presumably used to organize the establishment's operations and communicate with clients.
Regarding the identified circumstances, law enforcement is gathering materials to decide on initiating a criminal case under the article on organizing prostitution.
