A batch of frozen sperm has arrived in Yekaterinburg.
A batch of genetic material for the needs of livestock breeding in the Sverdlovsk region arrived at the checkpoint of Koltsovo airport, reports the press service of the Ural Interregional Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor.
On Sunday, August 9, specialists from the Ural Interregional Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor monitored the delivery of a batch of biological material intended for the artificial insemination of agricultural animals at the Koltsovo airport checkpoint in Yekaterinburg.
The region received a batch of frozen semen from breeding bulls. The cargo is intended to improve the breed qualities of livestock and increase productivity in livestock farms in the Sverdlovsk region.
The genetic material, totaling 2156 doses, was produced by leading breeding centers in Canada and the USA. The biological material arrived from Indonesia, and the direct delivery to Yekaterinburg was carried out from the Moscow region.
Throughout the entire journey, the cargo was transported in specialized refrigerated containers that maintained the temperature necessary to preserve the viability of the biological material. Each batch was accompanied by electronic veterinary certificates issued in the FGIS "Mercury." All products underwent the necessary laboratory tests confirming their quality and safety.
